It is time consuming for career women to always go to the market. Therefore, one needs to schedule her time very well to do so once or twice a month when your stock is down to help save time for a lot of other things.
Here are some reasons why we think buying things monthly helps;
- When You go to the market once or twice a month, you don’t get to buy your foodstuff or provisions in singles, instead you buy them at wholesale price. Items bought at a wholesale price are cheaper than retail.
- Comparatively, your weekends are spent with family instead of worrying about going to the market. You are able to make time with the family as your week was spent doing schools, runs and going to work so you don’t get to spend quality time with your kids and spouse.
- You also get to rest before your week starts. Shopping in bulk relieves you of the stress of combing through the market to find items to buy when you have already bought them in bulk, you just have to go back to the market when your stock is down.
- Shopping in bulk once or twice a month helps you to organize the week ahead. When you do that, you don’t have a lot of responsibility hanging around your neck in the course of the week.
